MICRODERMABRASION Before the treatment begins, be sure that the client’s skin is completely dry.
Using long, gentle strokes (do not apply pressure, the hand piece will do the job without pressure.) The vacuum holds the skin tightly to the exfoliating tip to ensure even exfoliation.
Hold the skin taut to prevent dragging the skin. If more or less vacuum pressure is needed, simply adjust the vacuum dial. (Be sure to occlude the hand piece to read vacuum pressure.)
Proceed with 2 entire times around the face.
Rinse with cool water and 4 x 4s. No towels.
SUPPLIES: Comedone extractor, 4 x 4s, gloves
Put on gloves. Apply ¼ tsp. of Pre-Squeeze™ on the extraction areas with a small nylon brush. Allow to stay on the skin for 1-minute minimum. When using the comedone extractor, slide the comedone extractor gently over the area using slight pressure, somewhat of a scaling technique. If you are using a manual extraction method with your wrapped fingertip, wipe the area that you are immediately extracting with a dry 4 x 4 esthetic wipe, then proceed. This eliminates slipping. Proceed with extractions by zone to remove open comedones only. Following extraction, dab on a ½ tsp. of Fix It™ with a Q-tip to the areas that you’ve extracted to create the anti-microbial environment.
